 
STEPS TO PREPARE COCONUT CANDY or KASHATA
INGREDIENTS 
• 11/2 cup Sugar 
• 2 cups grated coconut flesh
Dash of Vanilla extract
Dash of Vanilla extract
PREPARATION
1. Wash the coconut clean, grate using normal grater and set aside 
2. In a cooking pan, add the sugar and milk. Let it boil for 12 mins on 
medium heat till the mixture starts to thicken or until a small amount 
of the thick syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that 
flattens when removed and placed on a flat surface. 
3. Remove from heat and add the coconut and vanilla extract stirring gently. 
4. Scoop rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper and let it cool completely before serving.
